‘It’s 2 o clock now, I’ve been waiting here for half an hour, what is this bus doing, hurry up. A lot of buses went the opposite side and genie thought ‘why is it that, when you wait for the bus it never comes but it comes on the other side? Stupid bus never comes on time! Genie said tiredly.
Genie was too tired and she felt like sleeping but she couldn’t so she took her water bottle and washed her face. She felt awake but inside she could feel her muscles were getting weaker, Genie would never give up sleep for anything, if she felt sleepy she would sleep and she only wakes up when she feels wide awake. Genie waited so long for the bus and it did not come, Genie leaned back and closed her eyes, slowly she fell asleep.
Day 1
‘This is just so comfy’ genie said happily. Suddenly she got up and looked around; she was in a room, on a bed. ‘How, what, why, omg’ Genie unspeakably gazed around the room, she couldn’t see anyone. Then she heard footsteps, she got up quickly and ran to the door but then someone said ‘Hey, where are you going? Genie heard this voice before and she turned around, ‘Dylan’ Genie said gently.
‘How did I get here, Dylan?
‘It’s a long story, I’ll tell you later about it. I am going to go out so I’ll catch you later’ Dylan’s footsteps settled down as he walked out through the door.
Genie still a bit confused got up and went to the bathroom. She studied her face in the mirror, bags under her eyes; she could barely see her own face in the mirror. She knew she needed more sleep; she just wanted to sleep and then wake up home, have breakfast with her family, a little argument with her brother and sister. That live seemed to be very far from her, she felt like she was reborn and all this was in her other live and this is a new life for her. She stood there for a while, a tear fell down, she looked at it, more tears came out, she heard Dylan’s voice, she quickly washed her face and came out.
As she closed the bathroom door, she could smell smoke, she looked around the room and then she saw Dylan standing on the balcony smoking. She ran to him and took the cigarette and threw it away, Dylan got angry and said ‘why did you do that, you’re an idiot!
Genie didn’t want to reply but she said ‘please don’t smoke it’s bad for you and the people around you!
